Or hailing, more like it. The ice-rink in Piccadilly Gardens looks decidedly damp and watery, and the sparkly white fruzz-ness around the pipes has turned into slightly brown, tired slush. It matches the general Somme-effect landscaping which seems to be taking over the Gardens at the moment.<br /><br />Still, it'll be lovely when it's finished and full of skaters. Getting their fingers sliced off, probably.<br /><br />I've just been offered some promotional postcards of George Michael - currently the most exciting thing going on in Manchester, according to some people.
